It was working fine until recently; my purchase conversion stopped tracking. GTM is not showing up on the post-purchase page.
I am also receiving an email to connect my Google account and Google Ads account, even though everything was already set up.
Additionally, there are no Google account and Google Ads account to connect. The app only has Google Merchant Center and Google Business Account available.**

It’s terrible that I’ve tried reinstalling and uninstalling 4-5 times over the past three months.
- Setting up conversion tracking for Shopify is overly complicated. If I use third-party apps, they gain access to my ad account, exposing all sales data or ad information.
- If I install the official apps from Google (like the Google & YouTube app), they fail to report data accurately. For example, I had 8 orders from Google Ads, but the report only recorded 3 conversions, which affects ad learning performance.
- If I try to set up conversion tracking from GTM (Google Tag Manager) to Shopify myself, I need to know some coding or be proficient with it (layers, scripts, etc.). How can a sales manager do this on their own? Shopify makes everything unnecessarily complicated.
In conclusion, both Google Apps and Shopify deserve a poor rating due to the overly complex setup process for conversion tracking.
Waste of time, constantly suspending my online shop, and no support to solve the problem.
I was ripped off by google and the support is poor. before you use this app I recommend checking all the reviews on trust piolt. Google has so many negitive reviews that I don't understand how shopify can partner with them. All I am saying is do your research before you use Google.

If you're being blocked by policy issues, make sure that any Ads Accounts you may have are also in good standing before requesting a policy re-review.
Broken garbage, after wasting months trying to solve the issue with "misrepresentation", the app became incompatible after updating my store. After reinstalling the app, the store name is "invalid" within the new merchant account. Pure garbage that doesn't actually work properly. None of the error messages help you diagnose any issue and your left guessing, don't even bother with support because they wont help you. You're on your own.
Riddled with weird bugs. Its still not generating any GA4 events and Google flat out said they are not supporting the plugin and will not answer even simple questions, like "does your plugin generate events".
I try and not ever leave bad reviews as a small business owner however in this case I feel I have to. I can honestly say I have tried everything with this app and the support from Google who blame Shopify is as bad as Shopify's support blaming Google.
I can easily connect all of my ggogle accounts, merchant center, analytics and ads and everything looks to be somewhat accurate but my products WILL NOT sync to merchant center, no errors, no wrong information they just do not sync either in the shopify app or in merchant center. Shopify have clarified that all information is correct and it should be syncing, google just blamed Shopify what a joke! By taking three days at a time to respond to emails, you are literally costing businesses money.
Hi, thanks for reaching out. It looks like you were stuck because there were no shipping rates for products set up under the General Shipping Profile. We're updating our messaging on the app to be more clear about what this scenario is and how to fix it.
For completeness, for a product to sync, we will need the product opted in AND shipping rates set up in the General Shipping Profile. Products would not sync if we are missing the shipping data (like when custom rates are being used, or using a third party shipping app with no backup rates configured). You can either add General Shipping Rates in Shopify settings > Shipping and Delivery, OR change the Shipping Sync in the app to Manual and go configure rates in Merchant Center directly. Again, we will update our app messaging to help explain this better from the start. Glad we could get you running again!
We've set the app up as instructed. The Conversion data in Google Analytics is way off actual. We've contacted Google regarding the issue and they have basically said they cant help. Hopeless!

Our Shopify website has correctly installed the "Google & YouTube" tool, but when tested with the "Pixel Helper," the "Google & YouTube" tool shows as "Loaded." However, performing actions such as opening product pages, adding to cart, and checking out always displays "Events received" as "0." This issue has persisted for several months and is severely affecting our store.
